A few weeks ago, one of my friends from university came down here for part of her vacation and to visit me. I had to work during the weekdays but the weekend we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the beautiful weather. Here are some water pictures from my pretty city.

I’ve been noticing a lot of birds grouping together lately. Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds comes to mind and is a little strange but makes for some amazing visuals. On Thanksgiving my family and I went to see the sunset and saw a ton of little birds on the edge of the water.

Jesse and I took another weekend away together. This time we went to Miami South Beach on the other coast. My dad had a couple free nights at the W South Beach hotel. It was absolutely gorgeous, so thanks Dad! We spent most of the time at the hotel, on the beach, and by the pool. We did go out and explored South Beach since it was my first time, but really the hotel was the best anyway. As always more photos are available on Flickr.

My boyfriend and I went parasailing for the first time on Sunday. We used a disposable waterproof camera to take these shots. It’s been a while since I’ve used a film camera, but film was my first photography love and these just show me why. I love the way the colors came out.
