For my birthday last month, Jesse had flowers delivered to my office. They were beautiful purple orchids, so of course I had to take some photos. I even got out my macro lens to take them.

Every year Flickr hosts a Polaroid Week. It is one thing that really excites me about participating in. I love polaroids! My camera used to be my Dad’s and I really should use it more. Ending the month about Ansel Adams is my Ansel Adams themed photo shoot. I don’t have the locations that he had, and it’s hard to find the time to go out shooting when I’m working while the sun is up. To fill you in, I recently got a new full-time job, so it cuts out a lot of the free time I used to have.
It wouldn’t be Ansel Adams-style if it wasn’t in black and white, so I took these digital images and transformed them in PhotoShop.
